i thought the time when listening tongue tied to stories about advertising had long passed. i thought i had seen enough to not really care if advertising is an art or not, why listening to your gut is a good thing, why it's more important to be interesting that right or why you should think big.
i have heard the stories over and over again, i have heard the opinions of all the people i have worked with or been in contact with. i have read biographies and articles. i can sometimes say i have my own opinions which i can support with a fair amount of arguments.
i thought i had settled with the fact that after a while it is just a job. a desk job just like any other.
yet i can't remember how long has it been since i've been genuinely interested in something about advertising. something more than a look around to see what is new. more than keeping up or bitching about lost hours, revisions and other people's work. there is now a place that reminds me every day why.
