the idea was to photograph a hundred gun owners, in their homes, and do a gallery show. whether it's 39% or 50% of Americans (the different authorities disagree), it's still an awful lot of people. I started wondering just who they were, what they looked like, and how they lived.
this is a part of photographer Kyle Cassidy statement about a project named armed America.

this seems like a fit sequel of Michael Moore's documentary "Bowling for Columbine," an explosive piece about America's long love affair with gun violence.
