a part of a very strange conversation. just watched SLC Punk and totally loved it. the hole story of tribes, beliefs, reasons or lack of, growing up, loosing ... the world through Stevo's eyes is just like a piece of candy. the monologue about who started punk music, the bum scene, the stubborn floating car, the explanation of punk violence, the Porche scene, the 4.o destruction end.

"anarchy was not meant to be a lack of order, but rather the reign of self-rule. people were expected to inherently have certain values within themselves that would prevent them from becoming murderers, rapists, and kidnappers. let me put it this way, if there were no police presence and you knew you could get away with it, would you murder someone? rape someone? kidnap someone? personally i can say even if there was nobody enforcing the laws against murder, rape, kidnapping i wouldn't do any of those things because of my own personal sense of right and wrong. that was the sort of thinking that anarchy was originally based on. granted in practice it rarely works, but neither does any other political system. how well does living in a capitalist republic work? is there order in the US? for serious."

Anarchy is the anarchist society, the stateless society of free people.
